Happy Father's Day, Dad.  Just wanted to write you a little note to let you know how much I love you and am so grateful for you.  For everything that you were, everything that you gave and everything that you are, thank you so much!  From being my hero when the neighborhood bully and his apprentice used me for punching practice, really letting me know it was ok to be the one doing my own thing, ok to be the "middle kid", to being there to give me my hood at my graduation from Queen's and co-signing the loan on my first car, thank you.  For all of the places we got to go, things we got to do and see, I can't even express how much it's all meant.  Not many people would have trucked their whole family off to some of the places we went because of what you did in your career - you gave us the gift of experiencing other countries, other cultures, histories, and people, that is invaluable.

At my undergraduate commencement - yes, I stole his hat.It hasn't always been an easy road, but you're still there for me and I'm so very glad that you are.

Houston, Fall of 1991, just after I moved there to start graduate school.

Love you dad, Zach, Josh and I can't wait to come and see you in August!

One of my most favorite pictures ever :) Zach and my dad, several summers ago on Vancouver Island.
